The Dish & the Spoon

A wounded soul finds solace in the company of a fellow outcast as they commiserate through drinking and aimless wandering, acting out the roles of the happy relationships that elude them. Rose, recently dumped by her husband, befriends a comatose boy at a boarded-up beach town, and together they embark on a journey of self-discovery and revenge against those who wronged them. With a cast led by Greta Gerwig, this dark comedy-drama follows the tumultuous relationship between two damaged individuals as they navigate love, loss, and redemption.
