Rain or Shine

In the 1930 comedy-drama "Rain or Shine," a young woman named Mary Rainey takes the reins of her deceased father's struggling circus after inheriting it from him. With the help of Smiley Johnson, a fast-talking con-artist manager who harbors secret feelings for her, she hopes to revive the business and bring fortune back to her ragtag performers.
