Don Camillo monsignore... ma non troppo

Fernandel stars as Don Camillo Tarocci, now Monsignor, in this 1961 comedy film about his ongoing rivalry with Gino Cervi's Peppone, who has become a senator and returns to their rural town of Brescello. The two engage in a series of comedic conflicts, including a planned wedding and an election campaign, as they struggle to adapt to the realities of city life. Leda Gloria plays Maria Bottazzi, Peppone's wife, in this installment of the Don Camillo series.
