Putting Pants on Philip

In this delightful short film from 1927, British/American comedy duo Laurel and Hardy team up for their first "official" outing as a duo in "Putting Pants on Philip." The film tells the story of Piedmont Mumblethunder's misadventures with his Scottish nephew Philip, who arrives at the pier wearing kilts. As Philip's effeminate appearance sparks confusion among women, Piedmont tries to teach him proper behavior, but ultimately takes him to a tailor in an attempt to put pants on the troublesome relative - resulting in a series of hilarious and chaotic encounters.
