The Legend of Ben Hall

The Legend of Ben Hall is a 2016 Australian bushranger film based on the exploits of Ben Hall and his gang. The film follows Hall's last nine months, when he was a well-established bushranger along with his accomplices John Gilbert and John Dunn. After two years on the run, Hall is drawn back into bushranging by Gilbert's reappearance, but struggles to reconcile himself with his estranged son. The film also depicts many of their robberies and clashes with the police, as well as the details surrounding Hall's betrayal and controversial death at the hands of the police in May 1865.
