Anora

Anora "Ani" Mikheeva, a 23-year-old stripper from Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, is introduced to Ivan "Vanya" Zakharov, the 21-year-old son of a Russian oligarch, when her boss asks her to escort him. Vanya invites Ani to a New Year's Eve party at his mansion and later proposes marriage after realizing he needs a green card to stay in the US. The couple elopes in Las Vegas and returns to Brooklyn, where they face obstacles as news of their marriage reaches Russia and Vanya's parents try to annul it.
