Daawat-e-Ishq is a 2014 Indian romantic comedy film that tells the story of Gulrez "Gullu" Qadir, a Hyderabadi shoe-sales girl who falls in love with Tariq "Taru" Haidar, a Lucknawi cook. Characterized by their strong wills and determination to follow their dreams, Gullu and Taru's paths converge as they navigate the challenges of arranged marriage and family expectations.
