Burton and Taylor

In 1983, movie stars Richard Burton (Dominic West) and Elizabeth Taylor (Helena Bonham Carter) prepare to perform the Noël Coward play Private Lives in New York City, where tensions between their past marriages and present relationships simmer just beneath the surface. As they rehearse for the show's opening night, their differences come to a head, threatening to derail the entire production. Will Richard's fragile health, Elizabeth's pill addiction, and their own unresolved feelings tear them apart once more?
