A politician's wife and the mortician who has secretly loved her for years concoct a plan to fake her death, allowing them to escape their mundane lives and run away together in this offbeat romantic comedy. Shot on location in Wales, the film balances its lighthearted humor with dark undertones, exploring themes of love, deception, and small-town life. With a talented ensemble cast, including Brenda Blethyn and Alfred Molina, Undertaking Betty is a quirky and entertaining watch.
