The Promise

Set in the final years of the Ottoman Empire, a love triangle develops between Mikael, an Armenian medical student, Ana, a beautiful and sophisticated artist raised in Paris, and Chris, a renowned American journalist based in Paris. The story takes place against the backdrop of international tensions leading up to World War I and the devastating Armenian genocide.
