Wazir is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language neo-noir action thriller film about two unlikely friends, a wheelchair-bound chess grandmaster and a brave ATS officer. Amitabh Bachchan stars as Pandit Omkarnath Dhar, a paralyzed chess instructor and Nina's father, who teams up with Farhan Akhtar's character, Daanish Ali, Ruhana's husband, to help each other win the biggest games of their lives. However, a mysterious, dangerous opponent lurking in the shadows threatens to checkmate them.
