Leningrad Cowboys Meet Moses

The film follows the Leningrad Cowboys as they return to their native village after years abroad, led by Vladimir (Matti Pellonpää), who now calls himself Moses. The band is down on their luck and out of practice, but receive an invitation to perform at a hotel in New York. As they embark on their journey back to Siberia, they are pursued by a CIA agent (André Wilms) who tries to reclaim the stolen Statue of Liberty's nose. Along the way, Moses and the band members trade stories and phrases from their respective faiths, reflecting on their life choices and the birth of a sacred calf in their homeland.
