In 2006, five ordinary people band together to assassinate the man responsible for the massacre of innocent civilians in Gwangju in May 1980, a pivotal event in South Korean history where state troops killed and wounded thousands under former president Chun Doo-hwan's alleged order. Twenty-six years later, they orchestrate a top-secret project to exact revenge, using their unique skills and resources to draw close to their target. As the plot unfolds, the five individuals - including a sports shooter, gangster, policeman, businessman, and head of a private security firm - must use ingenuity and determination to overcome obstacles and bring justice to those who have suffered for so long.
