Dark Match

Dark Match is a 2024 Canadian action and horror film set in the late 1980s, following SAW, an independent wrestling promotion where Nicky (Ayisha Issa) ignites a bitter rivalry with Kate the Great (Sara Canning). Meanwhile, aging wrestler Joe Lean (Steven Ogg), embroiled in a complicated relationship with Miss Behave, becomes involved in a one-night event staged by Rusty, a promoter working with cultists led by The Prophet (Chris Irvine), a former wrestler with a troubled past.
