Après la guerre

In post-war France, 1944, two French brothers, Antoine and Julien, run from their village, escaping accusations of desertion along with their friend Gaby. They meet Franz-Joseph, a German soldier suffering from lumbago, who becomes their unlikely friend after they help him during his ordeal. The group heads towards Lyon, facing challenges and dangers along the way, including encountering American soldiers who ultimately lead to Franz's tragic fate.
