An Abandoned Team

Lawrence Cheng as Uncle Kai, a 60-year-old bad-tempered loner, finds a new sense of purpose after being saved by a stray dog named Siu Nam ("Roasted Piggy") from taking his life. With the help of animal volunteer Una (Amy Lo), he starts volunteering at her shelter and begins to repair his relationship with his daughter Zoie. However, their newfound happiness is short-lived as a shocking tragedy strikes, leading to a poignant exploration of love, connection, and redemption.
