Domnul de la curte

A French real estate developer, Leduc (Serge Riaboukine), prepares an old Romanian thermal resort for renovation. In a crypt, he discovers a Roman fresco that delays the project, prompting him to try and burn it down by mistake. However, he locks himself in the courtyard instead, leading to a series of attempts to escape as he becomes increasingly isolated from the few remaining residents, including Cătălina (Camelia Pintilie) who tries to extort money from him.
