Reign of the Gargoyles

During World War II, a group of brave US Airmen are downed in Nazi-controlled Europe after their aircraft is attacked by Nazi-controlled mythological Gargoyles. The story follows Major John Gustafson and his crew as they attempt to survive the wrath of these monstrous creatures brought to life by German SS officers using ancient ruins and mysterious "bloodstone". To defeat the gargoyles, the flight crew must retrieve the legendary Spear of Destiny, said to be able to pierce the heart of Vorthorn, a pagan deity turned malevolent force. With their lives on the line, the survivors embark on a perilous quest to claim the spear and defeat the gargoyle army in a battle that will determine the fate of humanity.
