Playing God

A notorious career move marked by a string of unfortunate events: Dr. Eugene Sands, a surgeon stripped of his medical license after performing an operation while high on amphetamines and opiates, is lured deep into the criminal world by infamous counterfeiter Raymond Blossom. Employed as a "gun-shot doctor" when Raymond's associates can't risk visiting a hospital, Eugene finds himself entangled with his boss's girlfriend, Claire. As the line between right and wrong blurs, Eugene must confront the consequences of his own dark past and face off against the very people who made him an unlikely accomplice in their illicit empire.
