In a chilling descent into body horror, "Control Freak" (2025) tells the tale of Valerie "Val" Nguyen, a motivational speaker plagued by an uncontrollable itch on her head that becomes an all-too-real manifestation of a parasitic demon from her homeland. As she grapples with the demon's influence, Val's grip on reality falters, and her dark past comes back to haunt her in ways both literal and metaphorical. With its unflinching portrayal of psychological terror and visceral horror, "Control Freak" is a gripping exploration of the inner demons that can consume us all.
