"Cleaner" is a functional action-thriller that ticks all the boxes without ever truly standing out. Daisy Ridley's all-in commitment elevates the material, but the predictable script and surface-level thematic exploration make it feel like a lesser version of its Die Hard-inspired spiritual successor. With an Audrey Hepburn-styled, tough girl character at its core, "Cleaner" is a decent, if forgettable, 90-minute ride that's more about entertainment than lasting impact.
