Residents of an adult community in Florida come together for support after losing their spouses. Dyan Cannon stars as Lois, who embarks on a rejuvenating affair with a younger man, while Brenda Vaccaro plays Marilyn, her best friend and a recently widowed companion. Len Cariou's character, Jack, buddies up with Joseph Bologna's Harry for solo survival skills, amidst romantic overtures from Sally Kellerman's Sandy, played by her alongside other ensemble cast members.
