When her mother Elizabeth dies of metastatic cancer, Alex Rose is left with a teenage bucket list to complete in order to gain access to her inheritance. As she embarks on this journey, she uncovers family secrets and finds romance — and rediscovers herself. Characterized by a light tone that makes it watchable while still trying to say something meaningful, the film follows Alex as she enlists the help of Garrett, a childhood friend who also happens to be an aspiring musician. Ultimately, Alex comes to realize what truly matters in life.
