In this gripping psychological horror film, a young woman slowly descends into madness as she takes on the role of caretaker in an ancient New York home, only to discover that it may be haunted by malevolent forces. With a bravura performance from Lauren Ashley Carter, who carries the entire movie on her back, Darling is a masterclass in tension and suspense, drawing inspiration from the classic works of Roman Polanski while still feeling uniquely its own.
