In this 1964 drama, a country western singer finds himself drawn into the treacherous world of moonshining in the Carolina hills, where ancient feuds and rivalries threaten to tear everything apart. As tensions escalate between the homegrown moonshiners and their adversaries, the Revenoores, the lines between loyalty, tradition, and survival become perilously blurred. A gritty, music-driven tale of one man's struggle to stay true to himself in a world hell-bent on destruction.
