"Bad River" is a documentary exploring the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa's long history of activism and resistance in their fight to protect Lake Superior for future generations. The film sheds light on the tribe's ongoing legal battle with Enbridge Energy over its Line 5 oil pipeline, which has been operating on 12 miles of the Band's land with expired easements since 2019. Edward Norton provides voiceover narration as a member of the Bad River community, lending his support to their cause.
