In 1981, an enthusiastic young Israeli adventurer named Yossi Ghinsberg embarks on a treacherous journey into the Amazon rainforest in search of a lost indigenous tribe, accompanied by two friends and a mysterious guide with a dubious past. As they venture deeper into the unforgiving jungle, their trek quickly turns into a desperate struggle for survival against the darkest elements of human nature and the deadly threats of the wilderness. With no survival training or equipment, Yossi must improvise shelter and forage to survive, leading to hallucinations about his past and a harrowing fight for life.
