The Show

The Show is a satirical drama film that explores the dark and unsettling world of reality television, where contestants are encouraged to take their own lives for public entertainment. Josh Duhamel plays Adam Rogers, a game show host who becomes embroiled in hosting a disturbing show called This Is Your Death, which features contestants committing suicide on live television. As Adam's idealistic views begin to falter, he struggles with the moral implications of his role and the consequences of his actions, including those of his sister Karina (Sarah Wayne Callies), a pediatric oncology nurse who is deeply troubled by the show's content. The film also follows Mason Washington (Giancarlo Esposito), a janitor who becomes a contestant on the show in an attempt to save his family from financial ruin.
