Lipstick Under My Burkha

The film follows four women living in the same neighborhood as they navigate their lives under patriarchal norms. Leela (Aahana Kumra) is a young beautician who dreams of traveling the world with her secret lover Arshad (Shashank Arora). Rehana (Plabita Borthakur) is a college student who secretly wears jeans and transforms into a singer, while Shireen (Konkona Sen Sharma) is a housewife forced to endure sexual abuse by her husband Rahim. Usha "Rosy" Buaji (Ratna Pathak Shah), an elderly woman, narrates the story of Leela's exploits through an erotic pulp fiction novel, offering a glimpse into their secret lives and desires.
