The Covenant

The Covenant is a drama film that brings to life the stories of Adam and Eve, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and more through a word-for-word narration of the first five books of the Bible. A scholar named Ezra (Lior Ashkenazi) returns to Jerusalem after being away in Persia to rebuild the Temple, sharing the history of the patriarchs with the people Israel. Along the way, he tells the stories of Abraham's sons Isaac and Jacob, as well as Moses' journey leading the people to the Promised Land.
