Two aspiring documentary filmmakers find themselves trapped in a monster-plagued Tokyo in 2003, documenting the catastrophic aftermath of a gigantic octopus's awakening from centuries-long dormancy, as it wreaks havoc on the city. The film takes the familiar found-footage horror premise to new lows with its abysmal pacing and laughable "thrills". Despite a promising setup, the movie succumbs to dullness and dreadfully poor execution, making it one of the worst direct-to-DVD horror movies of 2008.
