In the upcoming 2025 Indian Telugu-language action thriller film Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram plays Arjun, an IPS aspirant-turned-kindhearted gangster who sets out to protect his principled mother, Vijayashanti, an honest IPS officer. The film is a spiritual sequel to the 1990 classic Karthavyam, with Vijayashanti reprising her iconic role as Vyjayanthi, Kalyan Ram's mother. As Arjun navigates his complicated past and present, he must confront a notorious terrorist who seeks revenge against Vyjayanthi.
