Sunrise

A married farmer (George O'Brien) falls under the spell of a slatternly woman from the city (Margaret Livingston), who tries to convince him to drown his wife (Janet Gaynor) in order to be with her. The film's plot follows their complex and ultimately redemptive journey, as the Man struggles with his duty to his wife, his desire for the Woman from the City, and the consequences of his actions.
