In a locked-down train station café, a detective interrogates Jack, a talking capuchin monkey accused of committing a murder. They engage in a battle of wits, speaking almost entirely in animal-based puns and noirish one-liners, as the detective presses Jack to confess to the crime. The film's surreal atmosphere is heightened by its use of black-and-white cinematography, adding to its dreamlike quality. As the interrogation unfolds, Jack reveals his weakness: a chicken named Toototabon, whom he regards as the love of his life, ultimately leading to his confession.
