Doc Hollywood

"Doc Hollywood" is a 1991 American romantic comedy film starring Michael J. Fox as Dr. Benjamin "Ben" Stone, a young plastic surgeon who leaves Washington D.C. to pursue a lucrative practice in Beverly Hills. After a car accident, Ben is sentenced to perform as the community's general practitioner in a small town in South Carolina, where he meets Julie Warner's character Vialula (Lou), a single mother and ambulance driver, and develops feelings for her amidst the town's warmth and hospitality.
