Breakfast of Champions

In the satirical black comedy "Breakfast of Champions", a self-absorbed millionaire car salesman named Dwayne Hoover finds himself on the verge of a nervous breakdown, even attempting daily suicide, after waking up to discover his life is a total mess. As he navigates this crisis, he attends an arts festival where he meets a little-known science fiction author, Kilgore Trout, who may hold the key to answers about his identity. But between his pill-popping wife, a mistress who won't leave him alone, and a cross-dressing sales manager, Dwayne's midlife crisis is just one more headache in an already chaotic world. Based on Kurt Vonnegut's 1973 novel, this film adaptation is both a wild ride and an unapologetic mess.
