The Man from Utah

John Weston (John Wayne), a skilled and fearless saddle tramp from Utah, rides into a small town seeking work, where he helps Marshal George Higgins (George "Gabby" Hayes) investigate the deaths of rodeo riders. He enters the rodeo to uncover the identity of those behind the crooked event and ultimately wins every event, solving the crime, winning the affection of local judge's daughter Marjorie Carter (Polly Ann Young), and claiming the prize money.
