Trek Nation

"Trek Nation" is a 2011 documentary film that explores the positive impact of Star Trek and its creator Gene Roddenberry on people's lives through the eyes of his son, Eugene "Rod" Roddenberry, Jr. The film features interviews with cast members and crew from all five Star Trek shows, as well as with various fans and celebrities who were influenced by the show while growing up. Majel Barrett shares her experiences in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, but this connection is not a central focus of the documentary. The film was directed by Scott Colthorp and premiered on Science in 2011, preceding its UK release on Quest in 2012.
