Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle

During the Prohibition era in the United States, the Algonquin Hotel is a hub for the "Vicious Circle," a group of intellectuals led by Dorothy Parker, a successful writer struggling to cope with a troubled marriage and addiction. Amidst depression and hardship, she finds solace in friendships forged through her relationships with Robert Benchley, Charles MacArthur, and others, but ultimately, abandonment and loss shape her sharp and skeptical character.
