In a post-apocalyptic world, Unicom's totalitarian regime has outlawed computers and robots in an effort to maintain economic stability, but their sinister control is challenged when a rogue synth robot infiltrates a southwest TV station, sparking chaos. Amidst the mayhem, a lowly delivery man must join forces with his colleagues to survive the impending "thermal storm" that threatens to destroy everything.
