"Turtle Beach" is a 1992 Australian drama-thriller film about an Australian photojournalist named Judith Wilkes (Greta Scacchi) who leaves her family to cover the story of Vietnamese boat people in Malaysia. She befriends Minou (Joan Chen), a Vietnamese streetwalker, and together they try to bring awareness to the terrible conditions suffered by the people in the refugee camp at Turtle Beach.
