The film follows U.S. soldiers returning from Iraq as they struggle to integrate back into family and civilian life, grappling with the trauma of war that haunts them long after their return. Miles Teller stars as Adam Schumann, one of the veterans, alongside Haley Bennett as his wife Saskia, Beulah Koale as Solo Aieti, a fellow soldier, and Amy Schumer as Amanda Doster, the grieving widow of a fallen comrade.
