Killer Sofa

Killer Sofa is a 2019 New Zealand low-budget direct-to-DVD comedy horror film about a living recliner that commits crimes in the name of passion for its new owner, Francesca (Piimio Mei). The recliner becomes obsessed with Francesca and starts committing violent acts against her ex-boyfriends. Meanwhile, Maxi's grandfather, Jack (Jim Baltaxe), a disgraced Rabbi, tries to help Francesca deal with the recliner's supernatural forces. As the body count rises, Francesca and Jack uncover the dark history of the chair and the voodoo spirit that has taken over it, leading to a thrilling climax.
