A Bronx Tale

In 1960s New York City's Belmont neighborhood in the Bronx, nine-year-old Calogero lives with his honest and working-class father Lorenzo, a Surface Transit bus driver. As an adolescent, Calogero becomes enamored of the Mafia presence led by local boss Sonny LoSpecchio, who befriends him and gives him the nickname "C". Meanwhile, Calogero develops a forbidden romance with beautiful black girl Jane Williams. After witnessing a murder and becoming embroiled in his father's loyalty conflict with Sonny, Calogero must navigate racial tensions, loyalty, and redemption as he grapples with his own identity and future.
