Private Peaceful

Private Peaceful is a 2012 British war drama film set in the fields of Devon and the WW1 battlefields of Flanders. Two brothers, Jack O'Connell as Charlie Peaceful and George MacKay as Tommo Peaceful, contend with the pressures of their feudal family life, the war, and the price of courage and cowardice. The story follows Charlie and Tommo's experiences from their childhood to the events leading up to Charlie's execution during World War I, which Tommo witnesses in a traumatic and emotional sequence.
