Vivacious Lady

College town life gets turned upside down after a button-down botany professor secretly weds a sizzling night-club singer, Francey Brent (Ginger Rogers). James Stewart plays bookish and dull college professor Peter Morgan who is in New York with his more outgoing cousin Keith, played by James Ellison. The newlywed couple's attempts to find a moment alone with each other and consummate their marriage are repeatedly thwarted, providing comedic elements to the film.
