In "I Will Never Leave You Alone", a troubled man is forced to spend time in a haunted house as part of his parole, but the line between his own darkness and the malevolent spirit's wrath becomes increasingly blurred. The film masterfully sets up tension and foreboding, priming viewers for a terrifying ride - though, surprisingly, it fails to deliver on its promise of scares, instead meandering into an inexplicable narrative detour.
