Naples to New York

"Naples to New York" follows two Neapolitan children, Celestina and Carmine, who secretly embark on a journey to New York City in an attempt to escape poverty after their homes are destroyed and they lose loved ones in post-war Naples. With the help of George, an African-American cook on a U.S. Navy ship, they navigate the challenges of immigration and find hope in a new land.
