Expect the Unexpected

In this 1998 Hong Kong action film, a bungled jewelry heist sets off a chaotic chain of events as two mismatched cops, Ken and Sam, struggle to distinguish between amateurish mainland crooks and more serious crime threats in their neighborhood. The misadventures of these well-meaning but hapless investigators lead to a series of comedic misunderstandings and unexpected twists. Directed by Patrick Yau and starring Lau Ching-wan and Simon Yam, "Expect the Unexpected" is a lighthearted, entertaining ride with plenty of action and humor.
