In the Hand of Dante

"In the Hand of Dante" follows two parallel stories. In one, writer Nick Tosches steals a handwritten manuscript of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy from a Vatican priest played by Oscar Isaac. In the other, Dante himself searches for mystical knowledge and writes his masterpiece while being aided by an ace assassin, Louie (Gerard Butler), and another goon, Lefty (Louis Cancelmi).
